Juice Boost
Red Beet Cooler Juice
It’s time for more juicing! Cleansing your body is the perfect way to start off the new year, in my opinion… mostly because there’s not usually anything going on in January! I started my juice fast yesterday and though I usually breeze through it, im having a difficult start this time and I totally ate bread last night. (Lame….. ) So it’s obvious i need a bit of accountability this time around. .. hence the blogging subject!
Today’s first juice is the Red Beet Cooler juice:
- 1 small or medium beet
- 4 carrots
- 2 oranges, peeled
- 8-10 mint leaves
- Raw cranberry juice (optional)
I like to add raw cranberry juice that I buy from Whole Foods. It adds a really nice flavor to the juice. And a great tip for juicing the mint leaves is to shove them into the orange …they just juice better that way.
Anyone who wants to join me is totally welcome! It’ll last 21 days and I will be posting frequently.. hopefully daily.
I get the majority of my juice recipes from the Fat, Sick and Nearly Dead website.. especially the Mean Green. Any other juicing recipe used I find randomly on Pinterest.
Happy Juicing!!

I have been wanting to do a juice cleanse for a while now, but there is so much information on the topic, and so many recipes, that I have NO IDEA where to start. It seems so overwhelming! I am still searching out information, so when I feel like I kind of have it together, I am going to do this! Thanks for sharing.
I know what you mean Cynthia. It can be extremely overwhelming, but after watching the Fat, Sick and Nearly dead documentary movie it became clearer to me and I did my first juice by using their basic recipes which I have posted on my Healthy Lifestyle page for easy view. I hope you can get started soon!
Hey! I saw this post in the Reader the other day but didn’t recognize it was YOU! Great picture of the juice too.
